We are looking for an experienced Sr Procurement Buyer to join the US Operations Team at our facility in Norcross, GA. This will be an onsite role, working from our office in Norcross daily. As a Procurement Buyer you will be working on-site to over see the purchasing and be directly responsible for the management of company assets. You will source from global company entities and world wide suppliers and to carry out strategic initiatives and tactical executions using an end to end approach to achieve company goals and support roadmaps.


Here’s what you’ll be doing: 

  • Manage process flow of inventory to purchasing by establishing baselines developed by engineering and adjusted based on burn rates and # of systems installed
  • Generate vendor leads for competitive pricing
  • Handle emergency part requests and propose solutions
  • Provide budget updates on spare parts spending and shipping expenses.
  • Cross-functional collaboration within the organization such as R&D, NPI and Engineering, while ensuring best procurement practices.
  • World wide suppliers sourcing for alternate and substitute components especially from the far east.
  • Managed Contract Manufacturers management capabilities to ensure the availability of products to support scale up and flexibility on product changesets.
  • Review and analyze the external and internal customers’ demands and requirements to properly support their needs using professional procurement methodologies and processes.
  • Implement and set up the right processes, policies and practical tools to assist procurement activities and projects in the SC group.
  • Full responsible on operational KPIs in terms of OTD, Cost Saving and Suppliers performances. 
  • A proactive, tenacious and solution oriented approach to problem solving.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience of Strategic and Tactic Procurement activities to support and maintain E2E procurement process.
  • Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Operations or Logisitics
  • Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings.
  • Proven experience of negotiating with suppliers to improve costs, reduce lead times, and ensure quality.
  • Understand the advantages and limitations of different manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • ERP experience (Priority experience is an advantage)
  • Highly motivated, organized, with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
  • Excellent Interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative, own tasks and be flexible regarding changing priorities
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes
