We’re looking for a strategic and analytical Business Analyst to join our Rental Business Unit based in our Teaneck, NJ office. In this role, you’ll partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Product, Support, and Data teams to drive business performance, operational efficiency, and scalable growth through data-driven insights and strategic initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with customers and external stakeholders, helping shape both operational strategy and client experience while influencing key business decisions across the organization.
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Product, Support, and Data teams to identify business opportunities, operational gaps, and scalable solutions.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, risks, and actionable insights that drive business performance and customer outcomes.
- Build and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting, and operational scorecards using SQL, Looker, BigQuery, and other BI tools.
- Lead ROI analysis, forecasting, business case development, and operational performance reviews to support strategic initiatives.
- Drive process optimization across operational, customer support, and financial workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with Product and Data teams on ETL processes, reporting requirements, and data quality initiatives.
- Present clear, concise, and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Support strategic decision-making by translating complex analytical findings into practical business actions.
- Partner directly with customers and external stakeholders, offering a unique customer-facing opportunity to influence both operational strategy and client experience.
- Help establish scalable reporting frameworks, operational best practices, and performance measurement standards as the Rental Business Unit continues to grow.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, analytics, or business intelligence roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Strategy & Operations, or related analytical roles.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with Looker, BigQuery, or similar BI/data warehouse tools.
- Experience building dashboards, KPI reporting frameworks, and data visualizations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Experience with operational analytics, process optimization, and ROI/financial analysis.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data governance, and data quality best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience in automotive, rental, mobility, fleet management, fintech, SaaS, or operationally focused environments preferred.

Compensation:
UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 – $110,000.
