The Customer Success Team Lead will oversee a team of Customer Success Managers (CSMs) responsible for managing dealer partnerships within the dealership sector. This role will drive customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion by ensuring dealerships maximize the value of UVeye’s solutions. While strong customer relationships remain important, this role is designed for a leader who can operate with data-driven insights, technical aptitude, and operational rigor, ensuring that customer engagement strategies translate into measurable business outcomes. The Team Lead will play a critical role in scaling UVeye’s Customer Success function and aligning team execution with company growth objectives.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow the Customer Success team, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service and measurable business results.
  • Set clear goals and performance metrics for the team, leveraging dashboards, analytics, and CRM insights to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee relationships with key dealership accounts, ensuring alignment with their business goals while helping them operationalize UVeye technology within their workflows.
  • Act as an executive sponsor for strategic customers, bringing data-backed insights and recommendations that strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Champion customer needs within the organization, collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to enhance product capabilities and resolve challenges.
  • Develop and implement scalable strategies that enable dealerships to achieve measurable operational and financial outcomes using UVeye systems.
  • Establish and maintain structured processes for onboarding, training, and lifecycle management to ensure consistency and operational excellence across the customer base.
  • Monitor and analyze customer success metrics such as adoption, utilization, retention, and expansion to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for upselling and cross-selling UVeye solutions across dealership groups and enterprise customers.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless customer transitions and alignment on retention and growth strategies.
  • Stay updated on dealership industry trends, operational challenges, and emerging opportunities to position UVeye as a trusted technology partner.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar leadership role, preferably within SaaS, automotive technology, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Customer Success teams and driving performance through data, metrics, and operational processes.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling Customer Success teams to deliver measurable outcomes across retention, adoption, and expansion.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable for performance.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills combined with a data-first approach to customer engagement.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer usage data, dashboards, and CRM insights to inform strategy.
  • Commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth through customer engagement and expansion opportunities.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, analytics tools, and dashboards (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand UVeye’s AI-driven technology and integrate it into dealership operational workflows.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry or dealership operations is highly preferred.

Compensation:

UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 – $140,000. In addition, this position is also eligible for Bonus.

Travel & Physical Requirements:

This role involves regular on-site work within dealership environments and requires approximately 50% travel. While performing the duties of this position, the employee may experience extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and frequent movement throughout dealership service lanes, inspection areas, showrooms, and outdoor lots. 

The role also requires the ability to work in varying environmental conditions including heat, cold, rain, or other outdoor elements commonly experienced at dealership locations. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on site protocols.
