Building a Culture of Trust and Global Excellence at UVeye

As UVeye continues to expand around the world, delivering cutting-edge technology is only part of the equation. Bringing that technology to customers requires seamless coordination, operational excellence, and teams that work together with trust at every step.

We sat down with Melissa Pasqua, Senior Director of Global Delivery and Support, to discuss how her team supports UVeye’s rapid growth, what effective leadership looks like in a fast-moving organization, and why recognition and collaboration are at the heart of her management philosophy.

Q: How does the Global Delivery and Support team drive UVeye’s mission forward?

Melissa Pasqua: “We run a critical function in this company, because if we don’t deliver a flawless physical setup, the customer doesn’t get the value they are looking for. We go into everything we do with the customer in mind.

It is highly cross-functional work. We collaborate closely with Logistics to ensure parts arrive on schedule. From there, our Service Operations Coordinators step in to seamlessly manage and coordinate our expert Field Service Engineers for the physical installations. Finally, we engage our Customer Support team to ensure our clients are fully supported once their systems go live. We are the engine that brings UVeye’s technology into the real world.”

Behind every successful installation is a coordinated effort spanning multiple teams and disciplines. As customer demand continues to grow, maintaining that level of execution requires both strong processes and strong people.

Q: UVeye has experienced massive momentum recently. What is the secret behind your team’s ability to scale so quickly?

Melissa Pasqua: “The secret is truly the team banding together. We have been experiencing record-breaking growth and hitting incredibly aggressive installation targets across the country. Everybody has a hand in that success. Being in a company that is consistently pushing the boundaries of what is possible, with an ‘all hands on deck’ mentality across every department, is wonderful to be a part of.”

For Melissa, growth is fueled by more than operational planning. It starts with building a culture where communication, accountability, and trust enable teams to perform at their best, no matter where they are located.

Q: Your team is highly distributed across different regions. As a leader, how do you build trust and maintain a strong, unified culture?

Melissa Pasqua: “I view everybody on my team as a customer. I make it a priority to meet everyone, and because our field teams are constantly traveling, I adjust my schedule to meet theirs.

Through the basics, you build trust and show you are willing to get your hands dirty. I try to have open, honest dialogues. If the team disagrees with a new initiative, I want them to tell me so we can talk about it and find the best path forward together. I do everything with intention. We have established consistent, structured touchpoints from leadership syncs to departmental all-hands, just to ensure everybody gets the support they need, whether they are in the office, working hybrid, or out in the field.”

That people-first mindset also shapes how Melissa approaches recognition. In an operations environment where success often happens behind the scenes, celebrating wins is just as important as solving challenges.

Q: You are known for publicly shouting out your team’s achievements. Why is that kind of recognition so important to you as a leader?

Melissa Pasqua: “The nature of operations is tough, it’s tactical, and you could do 100 things right, but if you do one thing wrong, I don’t believe that should be the focus. So I really like to highlight all of the successes and wins that this team has, because it’s not easy to do this. It’s certainly not easy to be in the field. I’m really grateful for that.”

Melissa’s leadership philosophy reflects the culture UVeye strives to build every day: one rooted in collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. As the company continues to grow, leaders who invest in their people will continue to play a critical role in shaping that success.
